Joe received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish with an emphasis in Finance from Florida State University in 2003. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center in 2008. In law school, Joe was a member of the Moot Court Society, Mock Trial team, and the law journal, International Citator. He participated in the E. Earle Zehmer Worker’s Compensation Moot Court competition and the E. Earle Zehmer Mock Trial competition.
In the summer of 2006, Joe worked as a law clerk at Ausley & McMullen, researching complex commercial litigation and administrative law issues. During 2007, he clerked at McClosky, D'Anna & Dieterle, working on complex commercial litigation and appellate matters.
Joe is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts and the United States District Court, Northern District of Florida, and is a member of the Tallahassee Bar Association. He practices in the areas of construction defects, premises liability, motor vehicle liability, insurance coverage disputes, product liability, professional malpractice defense, general insurance defense, and commercial litigation.
