Mr. Andrews is board certified as a specialist in civil trial law by the Florida Bar, maintaining that distinction since 2003. He is also admitted to practice in the State of Georgia. He practices in the areas of professional malpractice defense, construction defect litigation, insurance coverage disputes, nursing home defense, product liability, and general insurance defense.
Mr. Andrews received his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Florida in 1985. He received his Juris Doctorate from the Florida State University College of Law with honors in 1988. Beginning in 1988, Mr. Andrews served as a law clerk to Judge Maurice M. Paul, United States District Judge for the Northern District of Florida. In 1989, Mr. Andrews became an associate, and later a shareholder, with Fuller, Johnson & Farrell, P.A. He continued in that position until he became a founding partner of Andrews, Crabtree, Knox & Andrews, LLP, in March, 2000.
He is admitted to practice in all Florida State Courts, all Georgia State Courts, and in the United States District Court, Northern and Middle Districts of Florida. His membership in professional associations include: The Florida Bar, State Bar of Georgia, Tallahassee Bar Association, Tallahassee Claims Association (prior General Counsel), Florida Defense Lawyers Association, and Defense Research Institute.
